Every move of God in history has been sparked and sustained by one and only one thing: Prayer. Azuza street, Jesus Movement, etc all arose from a relatively small team of individuals pouring out their heart to God asking, even pleading for revival for their community. Jesus said “Seek and you shall find“. Doesn’t that imply that NOT seeking means you will not find? It is time to get serious and SEEK the Lord to move across our community as in the Pentecost experience.

Success does not lie in organization, funding, projects, programs, etc. It must start with prayer. and not just “saying prayers”, but truly pleading our heart to the Lord seeking His move in a very real and tangible way. This is intense prayer, communion with God in a very direct and purposeful way. It’s not that He changes, It’s not that we are trying to convince Him of anything… We ask Him to change US. To purge us with the refining fire of the Holy Ghost, to expose and free us from all of our hidden idols, and make us pure and holy in His sight. We are collectively opening the door for Him to move through whoever is willing. It’s about making ourselves available to hear God’s heart and available to be purged of self while filled with Him. This requires a committed team of people (a team being two or more) and a committed sacrificial schedule to hold to.

So, I ask you to seek the Lord’s direction for your own life. Are you called to be part of this team? Now is the time to find out.

We are going to host the prayer sessions at theCHURCH on a schedule that works as much as practical for everyone called. I ask that you commit to at least one night per week to get together and pray. Once we see who is called to this, we can work out the best timing to accommodate.

This is the start of a whole new chapter for the move of God in our area! The lord is asking “Who shall we send?” and our cry is “Send Me!”
